HOUSTON, TEXAS (June 2015)Effective immediately, Marilyn Treacy is named to the position of Commercial Manager for Solvay Chemicals in the SOLVAir® division. In this new role, Ms. Treacy will head SOLVAir® Natural Solutions, the new joint venture between Solvay Chemicals and Natural Soda LLC. 

Ms. Treacy brings extensive commercial experience with air pollution control sorbents and mitigation technologies to the position. Prior to joining Solvay Chemicals, she served as President of MARE Industrial, LLC, chemical distribution and consulting company which she formed and directed. Her understanding of chemicals/sorbents technologies used in coal-fired power plants’ air pollution control systems enabled her to establish relationships with most major power utilities in the U.S. and Canada.

She is currently located in Denver, CO and will work to manage the existing portfolio and develop the new opportunities that are coming as a result of new regulations in the context of the joint venture.
