The EPA has recently proposed regulations to improve air quality and visibility in more than 150 U.S. national parks and wilderness areas. And because fine particulates may frequently be transported hundreds of miles, the proposed Regional Haze regs apply to all states, including those that do not have any Class I areas. These newest regulations are designed to help improve visibility on the haziest of days, as well as help prevent further degradation of air quality.
